About the event
We're hosting our Introduction to Mahjong - Hong Kong style - the format closest to the game's roots and still the most widely played version across East and South East Asia. If you've only ever seen the American version, this is where it came from.
We'll walk you through the full game: how walls get built, what makes a meld, how chows, pungs, and kongs work, and how to read a hand worth winning.
No experience necessary. Traditional tile sets are provided. Complimentary wine/beer and light bites available.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 20% of all ticket sales and purchases made this evening at Kendra Scott will support Equal Hope - a 501c3 that provides free breast and reproductive cancer services and resources to uninsured and underinsured people in need.
